SDM College of Pharmaceutical Sciences successfully celebrated its Alchemy Fest, culminating in the much-awaited . Annual Day celebration on 18th July 2026. The entire fest was organized with great enthusiasm and participation from students and faculty members, creating an atmosphere of creativity, unity, talent, and celebration. Inauguration of Alchemy Fest The second edition of Alchemy Fest commenced with the inauguration of the official semester names, symbolizing the identity and unity of the different batches of the institution. The students of the 2nd semester were named “Vajras,” the 4th semester “Garudas,” and the 6th semester “Rudras.” The inauguration was made more vibrant and energetic with an impressive flash mob, in which students participated enthusiastically. The performance set an exciting tone for the celebrations and marked the beginning of the three-day fest.

• Day 1 – Roots of India

  The first day of the cultural fest was celebrated with the theme “Roots of India.” The event aimed to showcase the rich cultural diversity and heritage of different states across India. Students represented various states through their traditional attire, customs, and cultural expressions. The highlight of the day was a grand ramp walk, where students proudly showcased the traditional costumes and cultural identities of different regions of India. The event beautifully reflected the unity in diversity of the country and received an enthusiastic response from the audience.

• Day 2 – Halloween Day

  The second day brought a completely different and exciting atmosphere with the celebration of Halloween Day. Students enthusiastically participated in the day's activities, making the campus lively and entertaining. The major attractions included an exciting treasure hunt and a creative face-painting competition. The events encouraged teamwork, creativity, imagination, and active participation among students. The unique theme and enthusiastic participation made the day memorable for everyone.

• Day 3 – Gen Z Vibe Match Fest

  The third day was celebrated as the Gen Z Vibe Match Fest, bringing a modern and energetic touch to Alchemy Fest. One of the major attractions was the food stall event, where students showcased a variety of food items and enjoyed a lively food-fest atmosphere. The day concluded with a spectacular laser show, which mesmerized the audience and created a vibrant and unforgettable experience for the students and faculty.

Annual Day Celebration – 18th July 2026 The grand finale of the celebrations was the Annual Day held on 18th July 2026. The event was conducted with both official and non-official programs, bringing together the entire college community to celebrate the achievements and talents of the students.

The institution was honoured by the presence of Hon. Vice Chancellor Dr. Niranjan Sir SDM university, who graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. Dr. Balram Naik Sir, Principal of the Dental College, was also present as a distinguished guest. Their presence added great significance to the celebration and encouraged the students to continue striving for excellence. The official proceedings included the formal inauguration and addresses by the dignitaries, highlighting the importance of academic excellence, extracurricular activities, teamwork, and holistic development of students.

We included giving prizes for academic winners and inter College competition like yoga and sports to encourage students for the coming year. Cultural and Non-Official Programs The non-official segment of the Annual Day was filled with energy, creativity, and entertainment. Students showcased their talents through a variety of performances, including:Dance performances, Singing performances, Skits, Fashion show, Various other cultural performances The performances were presented with great enthusiasm and were highly appreciated by the audience. The students demonstrated remarkable creativity, confidence, teamwork, and stage presence. Prize Distribution An important part of the Annual Day celebration was the *prize distribution ceremony. Students who excelled in various academic, cultural, sports, and fest activities were felicitated for their achievements and participation.

The recognition of students' efforts served as a source of encouragement and motivation, celebrating not only their accomplishments but also their dedication and active contribution to college activities. Conclusion Alchemy Fest 2026 and Annual Day at SDM College of Pharmaceutical Sciences were grand and memorable celebrations. From the energetic inauguration and flash mob to Roots of India, Halloween, Gen Z Vibe Match Fest, and the Annual Day, each event showcased the creativity, talent, and enthusiasm of the students.
