The Annual Sports Meet "Kreedathon 2026" of SDM College of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Dharwad was organized successfully on 3rd and 4th June 2026 with great enthusiasm, sportsmanship, and active participation from students, faculty members, and staff.

The Chief Guest for the occasion was Dr. Niranjan Kumar, Hon'ble Vice Chancellor, who inspired the gathering with his motivational address emphasizing the importance of sports in the overall development of students. The event was also graced by Mrs. Padmalatha Niranjan, Dr. Balaram Naik, Dr. Shivappa Koppad, Physical Director, and Mr. Sharad Javali, Physical Director whose presence added significance to the occasion.

The program was presided over by Dr. Anil Tumkur, Principal, SDM College of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Dharwad. In his address, he encouraged students to actively participate in sports and extracurricular activities alongside their academic pursuits to achieve holistic growth.

A wide range of sporting events were conducted during the two-day meet, including athletics and various indoor and outdoor games like - Volleyball, throwball, chess, carrom, Badminton etc., Students displayed remarkable talent, determination, teamwork, and competitive spirit throughout the competitions. The event provided an excellent platform for participants to showcase their sporting abilities and foster camaraderie among students.

The sports meet witnessed enthusiastic participation from all students, making the event vibrant and memorable. The winners and runners-up of various events were recognized and appreciated for their outstanding performances.

Kreedathon 2026 concluded with a valedictory function. The event was a grand success and reinforced the values of discipline, teamwork, perseverance, and sportsmanship among students.
