The Annual Sports Day Event of SDMCPS, Dharwad.

The annual sports event of SDM College of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Dharwad was conducted with great enthusiasm and sportsmanship on July 9 and 10, 2025. A variety of indoor and outdoor games were organized, including Chess, Carrom, Volleyball, Badminton, and Throwball, providing students with a platform to showcase their talents, teamwork, and competitive spirit.

The chief guests for the event were Dr. Clement Chelli, Deputy Registrar, SDM University, and Dr. Balaram Naik, Principal of SDM Dental College, Dharwad. The event was inaugurated by Dr. Balaram Naik, whose motivating address set a vibrant and energetic tone for the two days of competition. The Physical Directors for the event were Dr. Shivappa G. Koppad and Mr. Sharad Javali, whose effective planning and seamless coordination were instrumental in the success of the event.

The event commenced with Badminton as the opening game. The first day featured league matches in Chess, Carrom, and Badminton. The second day was dedicated to the semi-finals and finals of Chess, Carrom, and Badminton, along with Volleyball and Throwball.

The active involvement of teaching staff, non-teaching staff, and students played a crucial role in the smooth organization and execution of the event. Their teamwork and dedication ensured a well-structured and inclusive sports program that inspired wholehearted participation and sportsmanship.
